Meet Ashe Riviera. Rebellious, sarcastic, angry + fierce. Call her Ashe, and she'll knife you. She's a shade, and her alignment is mostly dark. Her parents left her, leaving just her and her twin brother, Alex, to survive it out on their own in the woods. Her brother fell in love with an Angelli who was already matched, and committed suicide after realising that he would never get the girl he loved. Her parents may still be living, but Riv doesn't give a shit. To her, she has no family left. She always carries around a bow and arrow, because you never know when you might need it. She's currently 20 years old, virgin and keeping it that way. Riviera is very temperamental, and prefers being alone and dislikes most people. She's a council member, and her God patron is Artemis, and she's a tracker; she has extreme accuracy with any projectile weapon. So don't mess with her, ok? Friends;; Ha. Riviera is a hater. She hates nearly everyone, and anyone. It's very easy to piss her off, and just about anything can make her tick. Impatient as she is, she doesn't really bother about making friendships; she's much better on her own, anyway. The only people that she would even consider tolerable enough to hang around with, is possibly people that can handle her anger, and cold personality. Either that, or people who are just as much of a bitch as her. But be warned; however close you are, she'll find it hard to trust you, or to confide in you in anyway. Sure, she'll have fun with you; but anything else that involves intimacy? That's a nono. Enemies;; Oh, yeah. Like i said, Riviera is a bitch. She has no problem voicing her opinions, and she also has no problem insulting people with her usual cursing tongue in front of their faces. If someone pisses her off, she'll damn well make sure they know about it. She attracts enemies as easily as flies to honey, and she doesn't give a shit. Once you cross her, you'll never get a second chance. Ever. Lovers;; No flings. Riv's a virgin, and she intends to keep it that way. And no, i'm not hoping that she'll fall in love with someone. Not. The idea of this amuses me to no end. He's an Angelli that has a grudge against Shades...but tries to be nice about it and not let his grudge affect him. She's a Shade with a grudge against Angelli and doesn't try to hide it. They should meet lol

That was a little sarcasm. She knows how to handle herself, and he'd respect that a lot, but it would be something he kept to himself; he will fight to make sure he gets out in front of whatever danger comes Riviera's way and demand that she yield to him when it comes to those situations which I'm sure will go over well. He will call her Ashe when he wants to make a point and can't seem to get her attention, which would be one of the many things she will probably knife him for. But while she is hunting he knows her attention is focused, so being her target gives him the opportunity to take some kind of strange control and he believes he can slip out from under the blade, both literally and figuratively, at the last moment.
He is as patient as she is impatient and as calm as she is volatile; he will push her and tease her, sometimes lightly, sometimes viciously. He can't understand her most of the time, and he becomes very frustrated, she is one of the very few things that make him have to work very hard to maintain his composure. Other times, I think he will think he understands her more then most people, because he is studying her to some degree and he thinks about things, nothing is black and white to him. He doesn't have to like her, or be liked by her, that doesn't matter to him at all. He takes his job to protect her very, very seriously. He is fanatical about it actually and he will not let Ashe get in the way of her own safety, ever.

First off, i just wanna say i love you SO much for taking riv's bodyguard, thank you so much! ^^
Everything you wrote, i absolutely adore it. You have a great character! ^^
Riviera goes through bodyguards like they're nothing, mostly because they can't keep up with her. She likes to sneak out of her room often, just to prove that she's better than anyone, and everyone, and that she doesn't need to be protected. But with Michael, how would you feel about him catching her? That would mean that he wouldn't be replaced, and she'd have this weird respect for him for it, but she would refuse to acknowledge it. Ever.
To cut to the point, she'll hate him from the moment she sees him, just because he's her bodyguard. She'll hate the fact that he managed to catch her when he's younger, that there's someone better than her out there, and she'll refuse to call him by his name. She'll substitute it with anything she can think of that's insulting. She'll find him an annoyance and be determined to get rid of him; and when that doesn't work, she'll make his job as hard as possible. Pretty much, if she can't get him fired, she'll try her hardest to make him quit.
Oh, and you can count on the fact that she'll go ballistic when he calls her Ashe.
She'll be confused and hate the fact that he understands so much about her, when she won't know a thing about him, and she'll never acknowledge him as her bodyguard; just something that soon enough, will be gotten ridden of. She'll do everything to make his life hell, and when she's not doing that, doing everything she can to escape from him.

I love Ashe, when I read her and what you wanted in a bodyguard I thought it would be fun to write.
I think Michael will kind of thrive on Ashe's hate, he will have to, or he'd get exhausted by it. He is going to try to wear her down, always be there when she turns around and thinks she has eluded him or bested him, even if he is holding himself up to do it. He will never let her know how hard he has to work to keep continually passing these tests basically, no matter what they take out of him. And act like it all bounces off his shoulders, meet her fire with ice basically. Hm. So, he needs to catch her trying to escape her room. I'd like to rp that, maybe her last body guard quit or was fired, he is new on the job and it's his first night/ week, something?

Sounds good to me! She usually escapes by climbing out the window, so maybe he could catch her just as she lands on the ground? She wouldn't be expecting that at all, and she'd be really surprised, and demand to know who he is; if anyone introduced him to her, she wouldn't have paid much attention. In fact, if they told her that they'd issued a new bodyguard, she'd have left before they could introduce the two. Ah, i'm excited. c:
